The Character Coach
In The Character Coach, each chapter clearly defines a principle of success. The lessons include stories that help your child visualize the message you are trying to teach them. If they hear a story with a message in it, they are much more likely to remember, not only the story, but the point of the story too. You can also use the story as a reference point later. For example, if she is not being respectful, you can remind her by saying, “Remember what happened to Noah in the story about the Black Belt who didn’t bow?”
Each story is followed up with questions you can ask to help ensure your child gets the point. When they hear themselves answer questions, it helps them learn on a deeper level. Have a discussion about each question. Really drive home the message you are trying to get across.
